DALLAS, May 13, 2024 – Luminator Technology Group, a global leader in technology solutions for public transit operations, proudly announces the appointment of Enrico Vassallo as its new Managing Director for the Europe, Middle East, and Asia Pacific (EMEA) region.
With a distinguished career spanning various leadership roles across renowned multinational corporations, Enrico brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of driving innovation and growth.
Enrico Vassallo holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Genoa, underlining his strong technical foundation. His journey began at Iveco Group, where he spent 18 years honing his skills and expertise. Starting from operations in purchasing and manufacturing, Enrico's journey took him through various pivotal roles, including Product Manager for dump truck product ranges in the USA and Commercial Director positions in Australia and Lyon for Iveco and IRISBUS, respectively.
Enrico's ascent within the industry continued as he took on roles of increasing responsibility, culminating in his appointment as CEO of Optare, a subsidiary of the Ashok Leyland Group.
Prior to joining Luminator, Enrico was Managing Director EMEA for the Ecco Safety Group, where he focused on restructuring and consolidating the business following several acquisitions, demonstrating his strategic acumen and leadership skills.
